NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine testified before the House Science, Space and Technology Committee on his agency’s fiscal year 2020 budget request. He talked about budget priorities and why, with a major focus on a 2024 date set for American astronauts to return to the moon. Lawmakers asked him questions on a variety of topics, including exploration of the moon and Mars, growing involvement of the private sector in NASA’s launch activities, and cuts to some satellite data programs. close
