Prime Minister Theresa May fielded domestic and foreign policy questions from members in the House of Commons, including Britain’s exit from the European Union, also known as “Brexit.” She talked about her upcoming meeting with Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn and the first ministers of Wales and Scotland to discuss the best way forward on Brexit. The U.K. had a short extension until April 12, 2019, to come up with a suitable plan to exit the European Union. She answered several questions on this issue, and also took questions on combating Islamophobia, workers' rights, poverty, and the U.K.'s rising knife crime problem. close
