Equality For All: Progress for LGBT Rights was one of the middle school second-prize winners in C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam documentary contest. Rachel Tokarski, Tovya Michael, and Seneka Millawabandara, eighth graders at Natomas Charter School in Sacramento, California, produced this video on the 2019 theme, “What Does it Mean to be American?”

C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest is an annual national competition in which middle and high school students produce a documentary on a specific theme. close
