American Food: The Culinary Diversity was one of the second-prize high school west winners in C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam documentary contest. Geoffrey Kang, Rachel Joo, and Leo Baek, 10th and 11th graders at JP Academy in Irvine, California, produced this video on the 2019 theme, “What Does it Mean to be American?”

C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest is an annual national competition in which middle and high school students produce a documentary on a specific theme. close
