Prime Minister Theresa May fielded questions from members on domestic and international issues during her weekly Question Time session. On the same day European leaders held a special meeting on extending the Britain’s exit from the European Union, House of Commons lawmakers considered the latest developments on that front as well as other domestic issues. Ahead of her meeting with EU leaders later in the day, Prime Minister May did not disclose details on her discussions with Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn and whether they were considering a second referendum. Other issues discussed included the government’s plan to regulate tech giants and the 21st anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement, the day peace was declared between U.K. and Ireland in 1998. close
