The Middle East Policy Council held a discussion on U.S. engagement in the Middle East. Former officials from the Reagan and Obama administrations as well as a current State Department official broadly discussed U.S. policy in an array of Middle Eastern countries. They discussed the U.S.'s role in Iraq, Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Israel, and talked about China and Russia’s competing interests in the region. close
