Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter (R) announces a $270 million settlement with Purdue Pharma and the company’s owners, the Sackler family, over claims the drugmaker aggressively marketed OxyContin and downplayed the dangers of addiction. Oklahoma state Senate leaders Greg Treat (R) and Kay Floyd (D), talked about not have a greater say in how the money will be spent.
