Mc’America: America Runs on Fast Food was the first prize middle school winner in C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam documentary contest. Ida Chen and Hana Lee, eighth graders at Eastern Middle School in Silver Spring, Maryland, produced this video on the 2019 theme, “What Does it Mean to be American?”

C-SPAN Classroom’s StudentCam video documentary contest is an annual national competition in which middle and high school students produce a documentary on a specific theme. close
