The Senate Foreign Relations Committee held a hearing on the importance of continued humanitarian aid for Syria. Witnesses included actor and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Goodwill Ambassador Ben Stiller and David Miliband, president and CEO of the International Rescue Committee. Both urged U.S. leadership on the humanitarian crisis in Syria and not to abandon the Syrians after more than seven years of civil war. close
