Pulitzer prize winner and historian Rick Atkinson discussed the significance and legacy of the events on D-Day that ultimately liberated Nazi-occupied France. He is the author of The Guns at Last Light: The War in Western Europe, 1944-1945, which is the last entry in his trilogy on World War II. The Atlanta History Center and the World War II Foundation hosted this event in commemoration of D-Day’s 75th anniversary. close
