Senator Durbin on Graham Border Bill and Iran
Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL), the Judiciary Border Security and Immigration Subcommittee ranking member, responded to questions about a border security proposal unveiled by Senate Judiciary Chair Lindsey Graham (R-SC) earlier in the day. Senator Durbin said the “Graham proposal is the White House proposal,” adding he is “skeptical” the president wants a solution. He also spoke about language in Senator Graham’s bill to have asylum seekers do so in the country of origin or Mexico. He also reacted to news about escalating tensions with Iran. close
