Airline pilots and aviation industry leaders testified before the House Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Aviation on the status of the Boeing 737 Max airplane. Witnesses included former Obama administration Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) head Randy Babbitt and retired airline pilot Captain Sully Sullenberger. Discussion focused on how Boeing can provide more information and training to pilots to fly the 737 Max 8 aircraft, which was involved in two deadly crashes in late 2018 and early 2019. close
