The House Judiciary Committee met to consider issuing subpoenas to former and current Trump administration officials. The subpoenas related to two matters: the administration’s migrant family separation policy and obstruction of justice related to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. The committee approved the subpoenas along party lines, with members of both sides delivering statement for and against the subpoenas. close
