A House Judiciary subcommittee held a hearing on online platforms and their impact on entrepreneurs in the U.S. In the first panel, Google, Apple, Facebook, and Amazon representatives talked about and took questions on their platforms' e-commerce expansions and changes over the years. Lawmakers particularly focused on alleged anti-competitive practices by some of the companies, particularly in the treatment of small businesses and app developers.

In the second panel, tech experts and advocates discussed antitrust regulation and how big tech platforms can hinder small business growth and competition. close
