Innovations in Food Rationing
Texas high school teacher Karyn Cabana gave an illustrated talk about World War II food rationing, including troop field ration innovations that led to modern-day processed food. Ms. Cabana also discussed government policies addressing farm labor shortages and food rationing on the home front. Friends of the National World War II Memorial hosted this talk as part of their annual teacher’s conference. close
