U.S. Border Patrol Chief Carla Provost testified before a House Appropriations subcommittee regarding oversight of her agency. Chief Provost responded to a ProPublica report that exposed a Facebook group in which Border Patrol agents wrote inappropriate jokes about migrants and members of Congress. She called the posts “highly offensive and absolutely unacceptable", and pledged to hold the "bad apples” accountable for their actions. close
