Rebecca Vaughn talked about her father Rufus Youngblood and the 20 years he served as a Secret Service agent during the administration’s of Harry Truman, Dwight Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, and Richard Nixon. Among the stories she told was her father’s actions on November 22, 1963, when he was protecting Vice President Lyndon Johnson in President Kennedy’s Dallas motorcade. The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum hosted this event. close
