The Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Antitrust held an oversight hearing on antitrust enforcement efforts at the Justice Department and the Federal Trade Commission. Testifying before the committee were Federal Trade Commission Chair Joseph Simons and Assistant Attorney General for the Antitrust Division Makan Delrahim. Topics included health care mergers, monopolization by big technology companies, pending litigation matters, and the pharmaceutical industry and opioid manufacturers. close
