Hillary Clinton gave remarks at an awards ceremony honoring women working to advance global peace and security hosted by Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She talked about the importance of work to advance women’s rights around the world, and about the work of the three women being honored with an award given in her name. She also made remarks on the impeachment inquiry against President Trump, saying he had “turned American diplomacy into a cheap extortion racket.” The recipients of the awards included Michelle Bachelet, the former Chilean president, and two women working on relief issues in Central America. close
