The House Education and Labor Committee held a joint hearing with the House Select Committee on Aging to discuss the difficulties of retraining older workers. In light of Hispanic Heritage Week, members put particular emphasis on the challenges that face older hispanic workers. Furthermore, members sought to address concerns relating to the Social Security Earnings Limit. Department of Labor officials, PAC representatives, and program enrollees testified. close
