Alex Rondos, the European Union’s special representative to the Horn of Africa, discussed how Brexit and European relations would impact the countries in the northeast region of Africa, known as the Horn of Africa, which includes countries like Ethiopia, Sudan and Djibouti. He talked about China and the Middle East’s influence in the region, working with the African Union, how young people are leading the way in these countries, and how much involvement the U.S. and Europe should continue to have in the region.
