Jay Sekulow, President Trump’s personal attorney, spoke to reporters at the Capitol following the Senate impeachment acquittal of the president.

The president was acquitted of the two articles of impeachment for which he was on trial: abuse of power (52-48) and obstruction of Congress (53-47). Senator Mitt Romney (UT) was the only Republican to vote “guilty” along with all 47 Democrats on "abuse of power". close
