Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas rejected President Trump’s Middle East peace plan during a speech before the U.N. Security Council in New York City. “This plan will not bring peace or stability to the region,” said President Abbas. Following his remarks, Israeli Ambassador to the U.N. Danny Danon and U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Kelly Craft delivered statements. During the meeting, both President Abbas and Ambassador Danon said they are willing to negotiate a plan for Middle East peace. close
