President Trump had said he planned to veto the resolution that aims to stop the president from use of military force against Iran without congressional approval. Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA), author of the resolution, said the government owed it to U.S. troops and their families to give “careful deliberation” of war and cautioned President Trump to not veto the resolution.
