Historian and author Mitch Kachun talked about his book, First Martyr of Liberty: Crispus Attucks in American Memory. Professor Kachun explored how and why Attucks, a former slave who was killed at the Boston Massacre, has sometimes been celebrated and other times forgotten or vilified by Americans.
