At a press conference outside his residence in Ottawa, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau provided an update on his government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. He told reporters that the U.S.-Canada border would likely close to all non-essentital travel by the weekend. He also took questions on providing extra supplies, like masks, to health care workers on the front line of the pandemic, financial support for Canada’s indigenous community, and coordination between other countries to get Canadians abroad back home. close
