Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau provided an update on his government’s response to the coronavirus at a briefing held outside his home in Ottawa. He answered a few questions on Parliament passing an emergency economic aid package, getting Canadians abroad back to Canada, and his response to news that the U.S. may ease restrictions and open the country up by Easter. He said the decisions and recommendations being made in Canada were based “on science” and added, “our priority is keeping Canadians alive and healthy and that is what we will continue to focus on in Canada.” close
