Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau provided an update on his government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. Speaking outside his home in Ottawa, the prime minister said he wanted to recall parliament so lawmakers could work on a economic stimulus plan. “Canada hasn’t seen this type of civic mobilization since the Second World War,” he said. “We all have to answer the call of duty.” The prime minister also addressed border security, public health concerns of Canadians stranded abroad coming back into the country, and rumors that a public health quarantine could last close to 12 weeks. close
