World Health Organization (WHO) officials held a briefing in Geneva, Switzerland, on the coronavirus pandemic. The WHO director-general discussed his organization’s newly-issued guidance on use of medical face masks. He also emphasized that Africa would not be a testing ground for a vaccine. At the start, singer and songwriter Lady Gaga and Global Citizen CEO Hugh Evans announced a global benefit concert for coronavirus relief along with raising $35 million for the WHO Solidarity Response Fund. close
