NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine showcased to President Trump three pieces of NASA technology that can help the nation battle COVID-19. The first was an oxygen hood for patients who do not need a ventilator. The second was a machine that sterilizes space equipment before it can go to Mars. Administrator Bridenstine said the machine has been used on the Ebola virus and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and proven effective. The third piece technology was a special ventilator that can specifically treat COVID-19 patients. close
