Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL) spoke about the importance of the United States working with other countries to find a vaccine for COVID-19. He also proposed a resolution stating that the international community should remain committed to collaboration and coordination to mitigate and prevent the further spread of COVID-19. Senators Risch (R-ID) and Braun (R-IN) objected to the proposal but said they were both willing to work with Senator Durbin on the matter. close
