Governor Walz said the events over the past 48 hours had turned dangerous and “the situation in Minneapolis is no longer in any way about the murder of George Floyd.” He also said they are investigating whether radical groups are involved in organizing the destruction of the cities. St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter (D) added all arrests in his city the previous night were of people from out of state. The governor announced he was fully mobilizing the Minnesota National Guard to help protect the cities for riots expected to take place tonight.
