Catholic Archbishop Wilton Gregory of Washington, D.C. participated in a dialogue with others concerning the ongoing protests across the nation that were sparked by the death of George Floyd while in police custody. He called Mr. Floyd’s death and others before him an assassination due to the color of their skin. Archbishop Gregory also spoke about why he publicly criticized the president’s visits to St. John’s Episcopal Church and St. John Paul II National Shrine. Georgetown University hosted this virtual event. close
