The Poor People’s Campaign hosted a nationwide, virtual rally to protest racism, poverty and inequality in America. Delivering the keynote address was Reverend William Barber, co-chair of the campaign. Also participating - along with civic, religious and community leaders and activists - were actor and activist Danny Glover; former Vice President Al Gore; Harvard Professor Cornel West; economist Julianne Malveaux; daughter of Martin Luther King Jr., Bernice King; and actress and activist Wanda Sykes. close
