Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer participated in a Harvard Hille web discussion. Topics included the Court’s recent landmark decision in the consolidated cases, Bostock v. Clayton City and Georgia and Altitude Express, Inc v. Zardat, that LGBTQ individuals are protected by federal law from employment discrimination. Justice Breyer also discussed the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the Court’s work, and live audio broadcasting of oral arguments, which the Court allowed at the end of the 2019-20 term in response to the pandemic. close
