FEMA Administrator Peter Gaynor testified before the House Homeland Security Committee on the federal response to the coronavirus pandemic. He was asked about FEMA’s efforts in distributing personal protective equipment (PPE) to the states, the status of federal testing sites, COVID-19 resources for schools as well as current and future National Guard assistance. When asked about PPE supply shortages, Mr. Gaynor said, “I have confidence that we will have enough PPE for today and for if there is a second wave in the fall.” close
