The Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Subcommittee on Security held a hearing on China and U.S. economic policy. Testifying before Congress were experts in U.S.-China policy. Several topics were discussed, including China’s trade practices, intellectual property theft, and market manipulation. They also touched on the importance of strengthening global U.S. alliances, as well as the U.S. supply chain in order to limit reliance on China for pharmaceuticals, rare earth minerals, and manufacturing needs. close
