Attorney General William Barr announced the Justice Department was awarding more than $35 million in housing assistance grants for human trafficking victims. Ivanka Trump and other Trump administration officials spoke at the roundtable with victims and advocates about efforts they have made to address the issue. Advocates and victims also shared their stories and spoke about the importance of the federal grants, which were to go to more than 70 organizations across the country to provide short-term housing assistance for victims. close
