Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) criticized Democrats over coronavirus pandemic aid negotiations. The majority leader said the Paycheck Protection Program needed to be extended and that an economic aid bill should include legal liability protections especially for doctors, schools, and charities. He warned that the Senate would not be taking a summer recess until there was a vote on economic stimulus legislation. close
