Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) held a news conference about negotiations with the White House on providing more economic aid in response to COVID-19. Speaker Pelosi told reporters that Democrats are willing to come down a trillion dollars in spending if Republicans come up by a trillion. “We have a moral responsibility to find common ground,” said Pelosi.
