Discussion with Red and Purple State Governors

The governors spoke about the challenges they have faced during the coronavirus pandemic, fighting racial injustice, expanding access to health care and Medicaid, and finding common ground with those holding opposing political views. They also discussed the important role the U.S. Census plays for states, such as the distribution of federal funds and to determining a state’s congressional districts. Moderating the discussion was Stacey Abrams, Georgia’s 2018 Democratic gubernatorial nominee and the fouder of Fair Fight Action.
