President Trump Pardons Jon Ponder
President Trump pardoned Jon Ponder, who was convicted of robbing a bank in Nevada. After Mr. Ponder was released from prison in October 2009, he founded Hope for Prisoners in 2010, a nonprofit that provides job training, mentorship, and counseling to individuals leaving jail. The pre-recorded White House event was shown for the first time during the second night of the 2020 Republican National Convention. close
