In remarks at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in California, Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Andrew Wheeler commemorated the 50th anniversary of the federal government agency tasked with environmental protection matters. Mr. Wheeler explained the establishment of the agency in 1970 by President Nixon and described his vision for the agency’s future, which he said focused on protecting air and water while cutting environmental regulations.He was introduced by Representative Ken Calvert (R-CA). close
