The panelists discussed several areas, including the rise of the movement through social media, the history of technology in protests, holding police officers accountable, and protecting the rights of those who record protests or violent crimes involving police officers on their mobile devices. Former Federal Communications Commission Commissioner Mignon Clyburn began the discussion with remarks on how technology has changed over the years and the innovation behind the iPhone. close
