President Trump participated in a discussion on social media platforms with state attorneys general in the Cabinet Room of the White House. The president claimed social media companies were unfairly targeting conservative voices and censoring content with which they disagreed, including his own claims that the 2020 election would be rigged through unsolicited mail-in ballots. The president said that an election “scam” perpetrated by the Democratic Party would likely end up before the Supreme Court, creating a greater need for the Senate to confirm his nominee to the court before the November election. close
