The Wilson Center hosted a virtual discussion on the state of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), which is made up of 57 European and North American states and was created in the early 1970s to provide security and protect human rights. Current and past leaders of the OSCE participated and talked about the history of the organization, and why it was facing challenges with the geopolitical situation in Europe. The panelists also talked about a need for reform to ensure OSCE’s continuing relevance. close
