The House Post Office Subcommittees heard testimony on incidents of violence occurring at post offices by disgruntled former and current postal workers. The witnesses testified on methods for determining mental disorders or advancing stress on postal workers, as well as procedures for dealing with problems within postal branches. Approximately ten incidents have occurred in the past decade in which former or current postal workers assaulted or killed fellow workers at a postal branch. close
