President Bill Clinton continued to advocate his administration’s budget program in an outdoor address to a large crowd during a visit to West Virginia. The entire West Virginia delegation joined with the majority of Congress in passing the President’s budget bill the previous Thursday and Friday. The budget was scheduled to be signed the following day in Washington, DC. Senator Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) introduced the President to the large, enthusiastic crowd. close
