President Bill Clinton and Supreme Court nominee Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg spoke during a ceremony in the White House to mark Judge Ginsburg’s swearing-in as Supreme Court Justice. Following the swearing-in conducted by Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquist, Justice Ginsburg acknowledged the honor and recalled forerunners in the advancement of women in the judicial system.
