A number of media personalities and political observers participated in a panel discussion on the televised presidential debates. The panelists analyzed the effects of presidential debates on voting trends, candidates' efforts to “spin” the debate results, and the media coverage surrounding debates. The first panel included political observers and analysts, and the second panel featured senior personnel from six television networks. Following their prepared remarks, the members of the second panel responded to questions from members of the audience. close
